Description
In Beyond SOGIE (Part 2), participants will be applying what was learned in Beyond SOGIE: Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and/or Expression. Before the training gets started, there will be a quick activity to serve as a refresher from the first session. Following the activity, the training is all about application and what this work looks like in practice. Participants will be engaged around various topics like damaged imagery and will watch videos that depict individuals experiencing rejection from their family due to their SOGIE identity and how to overcome those rejections and/or family dynamics. Participants will also learn best practices in ways they can support their patients.
