Who Should Attend
Individuals who are interested in reaching out and providing initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.
Description
Mental Health First Aid is an eight-hour training that teaches participants how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The evidence behind the training demonstrates that it helps trainees identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.
