Job Responsibilities:
• Conducts biopsychosocial assessments and behavioral health screenings.
• Directs case management for outpatient clients.
• Performs crisis intervention.
• Coordinates appropriate referrals of clients.
• Provides individual and group counseling.
• Performs record-keeping using an electronic health record system (Carelogic).
Required Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related human service field.
• One year of counseling experience in alcohol and drug abuse/behavioral health treatment and/or case management.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, time management, record keeping, customer service, communication, and organization.
• Ability to articulate specific experience and familiarity with: ASAM criteria; substance use disorders detailed in the DSM-V; pharmacology of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs; Medicaid fee structure for Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Services; and conducting biopsychosocial assessments and individual, group, and family sessions.
Preferred Qualifications: Certification as an Alcohol & Drug Counselor (ADC) by Addiction Professionals of South Carolina or a higher certification or license.
Salary: $40,000
