Job Description:
Directs and promotes Collegiate Recovery Program

Job Responsibilities:
• In support of the Student Affairs department, directs and promotes all Collegiate Recovery Program (CRP) student engagement activities that promote healthy relationships, academic excellence, and socialization for recovery-oriented living.
• Plans and implements education, prevention, and intervention outreach programs and initiatives that address student health, wellness, health promotion, and risk reduction associated with alcohol and other drug use and mental health recovery.
• Develops the CRP's strategic plans to accomplish goals and objectives annually.
• Coordinates, implements, and evaluates the delivery of appropriate recovery support services.
• Designs methods to evaluate the effectiveness of the program on the students.
• Develops a methodology to track recovering students after graduation.
• Hires and trains CRP personnel; supervises and evaluates CRP staff; and ensures professional development opportunities for staff.
• Monitors the annual budget each year, making budgetary adjustments as needed and approved, and providing monthly reports to the Associate Dean of Students for CARDS, DAODAS, and college administration as requested.
• Connects and coordinates with community agencies and organizations to provide non-grant-funded services for students served by the CRP.
• Writes proposals to seek additional funds for the CRP as needed.
• Serves in the role of educator, counselor, group facilitator, and mentor to students in the CRP.
• Structures and supervises peer-to-peer activities.
• Instructs workshops and courses for recovering students.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in student services programs.
• Experience in recovery and working with recovering populations, motivating individuals to achieve goals.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience with grant writing.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive a college van for transporting students to activities.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Student Personnel Services, or a closely related field, with an emphasis or extensive coursework in addiction studies and/or mental health counseling.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Good public speaking skills.

Salary: $46,655 - $66,488
